Introduction

Our free Portuguese Language lessons are for beginners. They are intended to increase vocabulary, show its use and its grammatical placement in a sentence. They begin at a simple level but become more complex as the lessons progress. Study one lesson per week to enhance your vocabulary and understanding of the Portuguese language.

Use the Test Your Knowledge at the end of each lesson to review and practice the new words and sentences. To reinforce your learning, go back and review previous lessons each week.

We've provided Portuguese Lesson #1 as a sample below. Test it out, see how you like it and when you're ready for more free lessons, email us and we'll send you the link to those lessons - all free!

If you are a beginner student, Portuguese Vocabulary Series 1 is the most appropriate. If you have already some knowledge of the Portuguese language, begin with Conversational Portuguese Series 2 and then go to Conversational Portuguese Series 3.
